Yamaha put it all together in the DVD-S2700 universal DVD player. Much attention was dedicated when putting this player together, starting with its 1080p video output. All of Yamaha’s top technology like the DCDi Progressive Scan is found in the DVD-S2700, dedicated to providing top quality images. Coupled with Super Audio CD, there does not seem to be anything left out in this player’s features list. Home theatre enthusiasts will appreciate the designer’s decision to give a exclusive transformer to the audio section, eliminating any potential of sound degradation at the power supply level. Also, a RS-232C interface is used so that coputer control can take place for a more custom experience. Yamaha’s obsession with high sound AND video quality is displayed by the potential of the DVD-S2700.
