The Yamaha MCR-230 is a micro component system built for delivering high sound quality & outstanding bass. A step up from the MCR-230, the Yamaha MCR-730 adds along HDMI, a CD/DVD player (versus just CD), Dolby Digital, DivX video compression, and compatibility with the YBA-10 Bluetooth Wireless Audio Receiver. Like its predecessor, the MCR-730 features two 2-way bass-reflex speakers, each with one 4” cone, a 1” tweeter, and a 90W maximum power output. Additional features of the Yamaha MCR-270 include an iPod dock, a USB port on the top panel for connecting to a USB memory device, an FM tuner with 30 presets, and a subwoofer-out for adding along a subwoofer. The Yamaha MCR-730 retails for $499.95 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
