The Yamaha RX-V1065 is a 7.2 channel digital home theater system that falls in the upper half of Yamaha's RX-N line of AV receivers. This receiver has superior performance for HD audio and video enjoyment with 4 HDMI inputs and 1080p video upscaling to the HDMI output. It supports HD radio, the only digital broadcast system in America approved by the FCC, which broadcasts CD-quality sound on existing AM/FM bands, and is also capable of supporting XM, XMHD and Sirius satellite radio stations with additional tuners. There are also optional Bluetooth and iPod docks for added connectivity. The YPAO automatic calibration system uses a small microphone and sophisticated equalization to automatically calibrate the best sound for any room, regardless of speaker position. It is designed using Yamaha's Digital ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) philosophy with a goal to maximize digital quality and minimize analog circuitry and uses some of the best sounding A/V components on the market.
