The Yamaha RX-V1900 is a mid-to-high end 7.1 channel a/v receiver. It features 130 Watts / channel of power, 4 x HDMI 1.3a inputs, video upscaling to 1080p of analog video sources, and high-definition audio decoding of Dolby TrueHD and dts HD-MA. The RX-V1900 was relased in September 2008 and supercedes the 2007's Yamaha RX-V1800; the V1900 adds HD radio, Bluetooth (A2DP, with optional YBA-10 wireless adapter), Sirius radio, and 8-point YPAO automatic system calibration. This receiver was simultaneously released along with the step-up Yamaha RX-V3900, and higher-end Yamaha RX-Z7; the RX-V3900 adds SRS Circle Surround II, a 2nd HDMI output, Rhapsody, HDMI deinterlacing and scaling, PReP (Progressive ReProcessing) with the ABT 2010 chipset, OSD improvements, and Zone 2 video. The RX-Z7 extends this further by adding a 5th HDMI inputs, more surround programs, a 4th zone, and component video on the Zone 2.
