Yamaha YHT-690

Yamaha's YHT-690 home theatre system is centred on a 1-disc DVD player with 1080p upscaling via HDMI that allows for high definition viewing of standard-resolution DVDs, and pairs it with a full 5.1 surround speaker system. The receiver supports both Dolby Digital and dts Digital Surround coding, but also features Yamaha's proprietary CinemaDSP processing, which independently controls the field of sound from each individual speaker. It also features YPAO Automatic Calibration for quick and accurate speaker setup. The receiver supports iPods and Bluetooth devices with optional accessories, and is also XM and Sirius satellite radio-ready. For accessibility, the YHT-690 features Yamaha SCENE default setting buttons, which are fully customizable and enable quick and simplified use.
