"I bought an Hi def cable for xbox with xbmc..You can choose between 480, 720 and 1080 (on the MS dashboard). If your xbox is pal, you would need a tool "enigmah disk" to change from PAL to NTSC...You can then streanm your DVD from your pc or have a bigger hard drive on your xbox and move all your dvsd files into the xbox...Hope I understood correctly your question. :-)"

worked it out. Experimented a bit last night. I had a folder for each movies. I took away all folders and replaced with just ex: c:movies and all files directely. It worked. Maybe some difficulties with xbmc to handle several paths like c:folder/movies/folder/files.... :-)

Hi All, I have one issue and one question. I start with the Issue. In xmbc, like videos. When switching view and brownsing to library, and you get the icons of films with thumbnails from IMDB, it looks nice, perfect but movies won't play !! It´s kind of loading but nothing happens. Then changing to files again, no icons, no movie thumbsnails, then it is working to play movies.... It is a bug or ? And other question is (sorry, I am a newbie in the xbox world). I have XBMC as dashboard. How to do a new "clean" install. Do I delete all files on E/dashboard and reaload xbmc ? Many thanks for your help !!

"Did like tutorial and took me only a couples of minutes !! great info !! BUT How to upgrade your XBMC dashboard for newer version ??? do I also just FTP new files to replace the whole E/Dashboard/ ???"
