The Zinwell ZAT-856 is a DTV converter box approved by the NTIA for government coupon eligibility. It boasts DVB-T, S, and C compliancy, as well as ATSC HDTV compliancy (MPEG-2 MP@SL/SP@HL Decoder). Considered the second most popular DTV converter currently on the market (per google rankings), the ZAT-856 delivers all the required functionalities of a CECB unit, including adjustable aspect ratios (16:9 / 4:3), an Electronic Program Guide (EPG), parental control (V-Chip 2.0), and user-friendly operation. Plus, in addition to Composite video connectivity, the ZAT-856 also hosts an S-Video (Y/C) port, and is in fact RS-232 upgradeable. The Zinwell ZAT-856 retails for $59.99.
