Zoo Tycoon DS, based on the popular PC game, allows you to create and manage your very own zoo using the touch screen. Players can purchase animals after building a suitable enclosure for them to live in. The touch screen eases menu navigation and allows for easier selection and placement of the various objects needed for an animal enclosure. Not only will you have to contend with the animals, but the people too. The visitors of your zoo need to be kept happy, which you can accomplish by building a wide variety of buildings including restaurants, restrooms, shops, theatres, etc. If you manage your zoo correctly you will unlock new buildings, objects for animal enclosures, and animals. The DS version also includes a large number of animal cards, which you can collect after completing a few requirements.
